=][= Redemptionist, Brother Gabriel

This fella is the first of many Redemptionists for =][= since I got a bunch of bitz for dirt cheap on auction. Total of roughly 5 Malicant and roughly 5 Josef models, give or take a few parts here and there. A little bitz ordering and I have whatever I need to make a rather healthy sized warband for gaming with. Brother Gabriel has the weapon that perfectly embodies the Redemptionist spirit: the heavy flamer... converted from the plastic Sentinel flamer, and mounted surprisingly easily on the Malicant frame. Other conversion includes some arm manipulation and resculpting, the right hand is sculpted, the backpack modified from the Sentinel flamer tanks, and a couple other little details thrown in as well. Most notably the 9mm shell hanging from his neck. The story is that he was captured by heretics when he was younger and even more reckless... the leader was going to execute him if the Redemptionists didn't surrender, but the pistol misfired and Gabriel took it as a sign from the Emperor that his work in the Redemption was yet to be completed. Such is the nature of these religious fanatics... and no one dares to argue with a looney holding a heavy flamer!
