This is my fifth-ever miniature, and the final member of my first completed combat squad. There's still a little I want to do with this guy, including making a strap for his bolter so that he can still shoot. I really want to become an excellent painter, so I'm looking for detailed critique, feedback and advice from the unparalleled painters of CMON, please. Thanks for looking!

not a terribly well-painted model, the redeeming "chuck" pose more than swells the rating to an 8.

I like the pose of the model. Regarding the painting I'd say it looks a bit thick. Perhaps you should try to thin colours a little. The face could really use some thinner paint as I think it looks a bit messy. I'd also paint the face a bit brighter, but that's just me. Also step the blending up a notch and you'll have quite a sweet mini. Really good work for your fifth miniature though, and as I started out, lovely pose. Good luck in your future career of painting.
