First time painting a Marine. Comments welcome. Note: Please be aware I am learning to paint and I could care less if this isn't a GW required paint scheme.
It actually looks kind of christmasy because of the green and red. No matter what you'll always end up having that effect if you use bright reds and greens together. Try more color variations. Such as a deep dark red with an acid green. But for the most part shy away from red and green color combos.
Otherwise this mini looks pretty decent. Keep working at it and asking for advice. People will gladly give it.
hey nice job on the chaos marine and isnt the point to enjoy yourself.as long as you enjoyed painting it and like the finished result who cares if its a specific color scheme.now a couple things the marine i think could use a wash to highlight some things .but good work none the less.and the second thing the base looks good but its a little toclean for me maybe a few more debris or a body part or two.but other wise thumbs up on your forst marine
