Witch Hunter Inquisitor
I painted this model a few years ago, but redid all of the metallics in NMM for a local painting compeition. The judges seemed impressed with the NMM on the shoulder pad and the woodgrain plasma gun, and the model wound up winning second-place in the 40k single figure category. The plasma gun was originally going to be bronze/gold NMM, but I couldn't get the highlighting quite right, so I opted to be completely different and give him a wooden case for the gun. I think it turned out well, and gives the model a slightly different, almost steampunk look (which works very well with GW's inquisitor models).
