The background is outside Rothenburg. I enjoy using the mini as a base to create other pictures and art. I haven;t see this posted, and this is not one of my better paint jobs, but I figure if I start low I will be encouraged as my ratings go up.

Yeah, the mini is a bit rough, but it has its good spots. The look in his eyes is priceless. Love the setting, looks so real.

The background really enhances the miniature, which I'd rate a 6.5. I like the colour scheme, and his face is remarkably expressive! When I see photo editing, I get nervous that the miniature was retouched as well, but I don't think that's happened here. The blacklining is a bit rough in places, and there's something strange about the highlighting on his legs and feet that reminds me of a glazed doughnut.
