High Elf Battle Standard Bearer
This project was on my mind for a long time. I always wanted to have a BSB for my Caledor/Dragon themed army (see the rest of my gallery if you are interested in it), and of course, to stick with the theme, it was clear that it had to be one of my "standard female" conversions with Dark Elf and Maiden Guard bits. But of course, the BSB needed to have some kind of dragon freehand on the large banner, and it also needed to be more complicated than the "standard" dragon schemes that I use on all of my shields. However, as the whole army is painted in some kind of comic style, the dragon freehand had to fit with that. Another thing that I tried to achieve is some kind of "nice" look of the dragon, after all the Caledorian people are supposed to like their dragons, so I thought it would be unrealistic if they displayed them in a "kill the ferocious beast" - kind of way. I hope that I achieved all these things, and I am looking forward to any comments. Greetings from Austria, Florian
