Sculpt by Raoul Garcia Latorre, Elite Miniatures. This figure got me into painting historicals a few years ago... This won Gold at EuroMilitaire, several years ago now.

Thanks for all the very kind words. Took about forty hours to paint. Did it a few years ago now and can still remember the nerves before I painted those woad tattoo's ;) ! Patterning the trousers wasn't so bad; the shear quaility of the sculpt helped so much, I didn't have to 'lose' any of the pattern to make it work. Cheers Adrian

this is just magnificent...beautiful lighting, on the skin especially...I love those checkered pants haha. Wonderful atmosphere, it's just beautiful, everything! Not over-complicated, but with detail added witht he freehands...A master work, I love it!! -sebastian
