Eeek! Big scary robot with cannon. This is one of the first miniatures I painted way back in 1980 or so. He seems to have suffered a little battle damage over the years. Yeah I know the sculpt is pretty bad and the paint job is terrible but I still love him! This miniature is from a game called Galacta 25 that was published by Heritage USA around 1979. The setting was a Star Wars rip of with the good rebel Star Commandoes fighting the evil Galacta Empire. A simple yet fun miniatures game.

I wish I could rate it higher. I always liked these pieces. I still have a bunch of them around and keep looking for themas they come up on eBay and such. Have you considered breaking out the paints and freshening this up some? With all of the conversion pieces and techniques available, you could make it into something really special. Heck, just putting guitar string or blade-shaped antennae on these changes their look entirely.
