Dark ogre

Ok, so not a good photo but it's been ages seen I've posted anything and needed to start again somewhere. I painted this guy in one evening. Like many people, I didn't really like the grey skin that GW gave their ogres so I decided to something a bit different. I'd never painted dark skin before and this was really an experiment. Based with Scorched Brown and then layered up with Dark Flesh and Tanned Flesh mixes. The metals were drybrushed with contrasting metallics and the trousers wer Scab Red and Warlock Purple highlights. Obviously, this looks better in real life than on this photo and as soon as I can get my camera to work with me instead of against me I'll post a better pic. Comments are more than welcome. Thanks ;)

I pulled it down in photoshop and played with the color balance. You got some major issues with your color balance and contrast. Are you using halogen or color corrected bulbs? A neutral background (30% gray card or similar) might help as well - it could be your camera is picking up all the light in the background.
