Falcon Grav Tank

Ok, heres the deal. This is a crummy scan of a mediocre photograph that came out of the German White Dwarf Magazine. I put this here for comparison purposes with my Scorpion img #2475. I airbrushed all the yellow on this model using a Iwata HP-B. I wasnt as happy with the results as the judges were, and I walked away with a bronze demon. I mainly wanted to point out that I think air brushes have a place in mini painting and should not be scorned like they are. If you want to try airbrushing, I suggest you pick up a Testors one - they are good beginner airbrushes with enough features to keep advanced users happy. The Iwata I have is a ferrari among airbrushes - high performance but temperamental and technical.

Sadly, i'm not in Germany any more. I lived there from 99-01. I really miss it and would like to move back if I have the chance. Either way, Golds are pretty tough to take in germany with guys like Bird around whipping out Meisterstucks. Tschuss!
