A Raptor in my Word Bearer army

I don't care if you slam this mini. Just make sure you put in some constructive critisism. I've been painting for a year now and I'm 15. I actually first learned of Warhammer when I was five and visiting in England. I forgot about it until now. This isn't painted in standard Word Bearer colors but I thought since Raptors might be in high demand through out the chaos armies that they would have a uniform armor color. The aspiring champion will be painted red of course.

I don´t intend to slam this mini, it´s nicely painted and the blue/gray of his armour looks good. I can only imagine the blue glow of the Plasma pistol, but what I can see of the lighting effect looks really good. Perhaps you could have given the casing of his chainsword another colour, that would have given the blade some more effect. Otherwise, a really cool mini. Please visit my Chaos minis too.

actually the word bearers started (before Horus) in a dark gray and their raptors (then assult marines) keept their colours durring the Heresy ... so i love it might do the same just got them to add to my army.. so 10 for originality, quality of paint is an 8 .. but that might be the photo
