Hi Guys,

Posted this in here but maybe should of gone in WIPS, i got my Zhufor model delivered today from Forge World, its amazin so much detail. But im not sure what colours to paint, originally i was going to follow the masses and go for red, but i have also seen the pre-heresy colour scheme, im hoping to do a full World Eater army so any advice/inspiration would be appreciated.

Personally I\'d go for Zhufor in Red as the detail and quality gives plenty of opportunity to make it stand out.
But I see no reason why if you are going to do a World Eaters army you can\'t have squads still in the original colour scheme, perhaps with aspiring champions gradually turning blood red the more closer to a Khornate \'Ideal\' they get.


PS. Have you cleared this with Emma?

You\'ve got so much painting possibilities for this mini. The traditionnal red is good but it could be also really good to change from this colour scheme. Good luck for painting it.

Hi DR, yep its cleared its the chaos stuff i already had, I kind of had the idea of pre heresy colours with blood splashes but how to do it.

Cheelfy thats the point such an amazin model i wanted to do it justice.

Zhufor is not originally a World Eater, he was formerly Sergeant Balzach of the Storm Lords Chapter, he was captured and taken prisoner by the World Eaters during the sacking of Paramar and tortured and subjected to psycho-corrective surgery.He started his career with the WE as a Berzerker and worked his way up in the ranks,where he changed his name to Zhufor, he plotted a treacherous attack against an allied warband,The Skulltakers, and became their leader, he offered his services to Abaddon and basically took command of the forces at the Siege of Vraks. I have his stats if anyone is interested, pm me

Hi Guys,

Love the fluff Stuff, but to be honest i was going to be using him as a khorne warlord not Zhufor. bad title post to be fair but at least it got people talkin.

Richard dont take anythin personal the fluff is pure inspiriation, do you think its odd for him to use WE icons and images?

not taking it personal, just thought I had something interesting to add,I'm new to this forum and not sure how "the powers that be" run it, apparently it leans more toward painting and modeling than interest in fluff, which is fine by me, don't want to offend any fluff haters so I'll keep it to myself from now on. BTW I also have the Zhufor mini and is WIP for me,I'll be painting mine in Khorne colors and using him as Zhufor in my army,I'm guessing his WE and Khorne icons are because he's a World Eater lord and former Berserker and now is the leader of the Skulltakers which is a sub-branch of Khorne Berserker marines.pm me if interested I can send you his story and stats

pffft don't do that, i don't think mike meant to be disparaging in any way, just that sometimes you can post stuff like that and it will fall on deaf ears. balls post it anyway. i loves it

Yeah, Richard, do post! fluff brings character, even if it is a random piece with a three-line piece of text to it from some unknown company it still gives the mini a new dimension. Do post fluff, but as they said, there are a lot of people who doesn't care about the fluff, but all that will happen is that they will ignore the post.
