I am very new to these forums. I started painting minis around a dozen years ago, and of course, life has a way of getting in the way. Recently I decided to pick up x-acto and brush again. Anyways I just wanted to let you guys here on the forum how impressed I am with you. I have been on forums for other things for a looong time, and never have I seen the level of kindness and compassion that I see here. Between the good advice I recieved in my very first question/post, the undaunted amount of sharing of info here, or even the willingness of people to help each other beyond the realm of advice; like the coming together Ive seen in the trading post auctions to help people in need.
That all being said..... you guys rock. I am proud to be a new part of this forum in 2008.

Get a good back-supporting chair.
Remember to get up and stretch and move at least once an hour.
Have a good supply of booze on hand for the various drink-related threads.

No matter what they tell you... no matter how often you read about it....

Brush licking is not good for you.

Don\'t lick brush.

It\'s bad, mmm\'kay?

Thanks guys. Ive stockpiled some minis for some tests, so I should have singles up for a good shreding in abouts a month. As for the brush licking; I posted one of my first posts about this, in some thread about GW yellows being toxic. Now I cant find it, damn woodford reserve kentucky bourbon makes me forget my posts.

HEATHEN...YOU never ever ever ever ever put Cream in Tea. Milk or Lemon Only.
Cream is for pouring over Apple Pie and even then only in minute amounts.

Sheesh you Americans have a lot to learn. ;)

That is truly manky!

Earl grey has lemon in, and I can\'t imagine drinking any tea with cream - milk is the way to go

Now occasionally I will have coffee with cream, but usually if its floating on top, and something alcoholic is on the bottom

As for all new visitors - welcome, and check your liver in to alcoholics anonymous on the way!

Seconded!

What a revolting way to drink tea!! I won\'t even countenance the use of cream in my coffee, let alone in a mug of the finest beverage known to mankind.....

Make it as strong as you possibly can - give the bag a good mashing - then just a splash of milk. No sugar for me, but you can if you must. Best brew I ever had was made by my old landlord\'s mrs - she boiled up the water with 5 teabags in it on the stove for nearly 10 minutes putting milk in for the last minute or two. Brewtastic!

There you go Revmatt - more useful/less advice from the bowels of the CMON forums!!

Teach us, Oh Great Wise One.. :flip:

Then listen and be enlightened ( :D)
Tea is the divine netar, the ambrosia of the gods (Monkey or otherwise).
\"Sully not the lips of the suplicant with cheap derivitives, but maintain the purity of the original delicacy.
Cheapen not the brew of genius with heavy cream but lightly enhance the flavour with mild milk or add the freshness of the lemon to refresh the tired spirit.\"

That suit you Kevin? :) :D lol

Why put anything in tea? I like it straight. Lemon <shudder> Milk? <hack> Sugar? Oh god no! Just straight tea please.
