Wow those minis look familiar...or running into minis you have painted

So I am at a tourney this past week and I am looking as a unit of my opponent\'s and thinking they look very familiar in thier painting stlye. Then it dawns on me I painted them! In all my years of selling minis on E-bay I have never run into figures I have painted and sold. It is just cool to know that the stuff I have sold over the years is getting some use.

So for those mini painters out there have you run into your own work over the course of a game or convention?

So, does seeing your own stuff out and about like that mean that you\'ve \"made it\"? ;)

Seriously though, it must be kind of cool to your work like that.

Also seriously: do any of you ever get asked to sign something you\'ve done?

For example: let\'s say you\'re at a competition or a con, someone recognizes you and happens to have something you\'ve done, do you get asked to sign it? Or even just a request for an autograph?

Not personally....But the Manchester GW staff once had to eject someone from their store. Caught playing with the miniatures stolen from a GW staffer who worked in another local store.

we had the same thing when I was at Stoke and a customer turned up with a staff army from up the road..He tried to deny it but the army was complete with the named army books and 2 payslips ...doh....

I\'ve bumped into a few of my things and even had to disqualify a guy from getting best painted army at our conflict a few years ago as five of his units and 2 characters were painted by me.

It\'s good to see models getting the use that I don\'t have the time to commit but trying to pick up a prize is a little cheeky..
