I have almost finished my gandalf on shadowfax base using Klute\'s water basing. The thing i was wondering about however is to create splashes on the hooves (3 of which are lifted off the ground). Would almost dried PVa brushed on look like water running off these legs? Thanks in advance

I would like to see the mini so far to be able to judge properly what I think would look best.Does the horses hooves nearly touch the water or have u done it that deep the horse is running in the water,which would look cool.If the hooves are splashing in the water then u could sculpt the splahes out of greenstuff etc as youll end up wanting to paint them white anyway.pva will stay soft for quite a while and I think it would be tough to arrange properly.Its best left to find its own level.

Only one of the hooves is actually in the water, the other three are relatively high above the base itself. Ill try post a picture here tommorow if i can work out how to work the /IMG tags

EDIT:I tried it last night and i think it turned out quite well :flip:. I will post the finished pic on CMON soon - only have the arm with staff and the sword hilt left to do .
