worst colors?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there are any VMC colors that separate easier than others? I\'m just kind of wondering which ones I should probably look out for before I start using them. I thin at least 2:1 water:paint for most painting.

Some of the green colours are more problematic in this respect. Can\'t remember which particular colours but generally the more ordinary green midtones separates more easily. Greyish greens or lighter greens are ok, though, as far as I\'ve seen.

I\'ve actually tried some vallejo matt medium in with the paints that I\'ve been having a problem with and it seems to have cured for the most part. I mixec one part paint, one part medium and 4 parts water last night and it seemed to take a LOT longer before the paint began to separate at all.

I wonder what brands of artist mediums will mix that well with them, as the vallejo bottles of medium are so small. Liquitex is quite common around here (NS Canada). Has anyone actually mixed that in with vallejo paints with the same success as their own brand of medium?

Actually in the GW line I use pink all of the time when I\'m going to paint bright colors over black. GW pink covers really well and red orange and yellow go over it great. :D

I have used Liquitex Slo-dri Retarder and Liquitex Flow Improver with my Vallejo paints and it works without any problems. Haven\'t tried any other mediums though.
