I thought I\'d do a bit of shameless promotion for a good group of folks who have supported miniature painting and wargaming for a long time in Wichita, KS. They\'ve organized a weeklong event to take place October 8-10 at their store, Agents of Comics.
There will be tournaments seating sixty in Warhammer 40k, Fantasy, and Warmachine. Pay in advance by Sept 18 and get a discount.
More importantly to this site, they are hosting a painting competition Sunday, October 10, with some 10 categories. This would be a great opportunity to get together, and show off some wonderful models. Trophies and prizes to the top winners in each category, and a sword (yes, an actual sword a la Slayer Swords) to the overall winner.
