Just send a link over, we can click on it and see the image before it is moderated.

But its more advisable to host your photo in photobucket.com or imageshack then post them in the forums using the image tags.

O and welcome to the jungle, we\'ve got fun and games... sorry  (got a bit carried away!) Welcome to the forums!

Yep that works fine, if you put that image url between
IMG] it will bring the photo in to the forum (easier for people to see) but don\'t keep the space before the slash.

nice solid colors and good beginning. i would say the cloak is a bit off. you are starting to blend which is good and takes time to learn. try blending the cloak back first with some kommando khaki it is a great translucent color and then build back up to a lighter color. i think that should help your cloak. the face is good but the inner recesses need some more darker hues. i would suggest a quick wash of a darker color. many of us on here use a purple wash and it works great. just some helpful thoughts. i would rate this at a 6.8 ... better than tabletop and on its way to higher level if you add a bit more to it. keep it up and welcome to the forums. :D

Nice looking DA you got there. Have to say I quite like the cloak and the armour. The only niggly points I\'d suggest working on are the whites on the banner and his eye. The banner white looks a bit messy - a few thinned down layers should help tidy it up. The eye just seems a bit too bright - perhaps an off-white colours like bleached bone. Excellent start to your CMON career though

hey

that looks pretty good. there are a few points here and there where youa re not quite up to the level of the rest of the mini but everyone else has pretty much covered those.

the one thing i will add is the same thing i tell everyone i teach to paint at work, \"there is no need to rush. take your time and just go slow at first. once you work out where to put the colours neatly, you can work on your speed after.\"

and alot of the better painters around DO take a long time to paint their mini\'s, its what makes them so good i guess.

Very solid mini, I like it. The only thing I\'d really want to change is the teeth, I think individual teeth picked out in white over black looks funny on minis of this size.

Some of the studio Empire figs are a good example of this, they look like grandpas/hockey players missing half their teeth.

Anyway the blends aren\'t bad at all on this mini, just remember you have to be patient with bone robes over a dark basecoat. They take a lot of layers to cover properly.

I\'d consider priming the hooded/cloaked areas of the model separately. Prime anything primarily bone with white spray, and the other parts using black spray. Assemble it all afterwards.

I\'d recommend starting with a midtone on the cloaks and using quite watery shade colors afterwards. Add some final hilights last. This works relatively quickly with brighter cloaks, and gets very smooth results.

thanks for the comments guys...at least now i know where im going wrong...ive been unsure about the cloak myself and have been working on it since posting the image...

oh and heres a chaplain i painted a few months back :)
