wood elves or tzeentch mortals

ok im trying to figure which army i like more. i mostly care about fluff and coolness, but i also like to be semi competitive on the battlefield.

so tzeentch mortals made of basically one lord on a disc, and exalted mounted on horse, with chosen knights, regular warriors, 2 chariots maybe and screamers and 1 unit of horrors.
this would have a crap ton of PD 12+horrors spells prolly 5dd and 1ds

OR

woodelves
highborn, mounted, helm of the hunt etc
noble, hail of doom arrow, 1 caster, dispells scroll caddy.

20 glade guard (2 units of 10) 15 glade riders (3 units of 5), 10 dryads
5 wild riders, 3 treekin
and a treeman

themes on the tzeentch would be a slow converion of the mortals from normal to demons, with the horrors having finished the change.

theme on the wood elves would be night based with star cloaks and mostly mounted, painted horses in a somewhat native american stlye.

any thoughts?

The Wood Elves are a much more versatile army but also much harder to use. Chaos armies do give you a lot more opportunities for cool conversions. IMO both armies look quite cool, but maybe the new Wood Elf models might look a bit better.

If your going woodies I would beef up the magic and if you want a fighting charater go a branch wraith of a treeman ancient.

Tzeench is a hard army but is very magic heavy so I would maximise that as well.

Both these armies are very unforgiving but can win games if played right.

Good luck post pics.

i would go for wood elves, because they look awesome, new models, waywatchers are deadly, the best accuracy in the game, not really hard to get used to, it depends on the person, if it is hard to understand the tactics every other army is just as hard to use, believe me i heard that dark elves, ogres, empire, high elves, tomb kings, are all armies that are hard to play with, but i picked ogres and wood elves, and getting used to them after 7 games that i played so far.
Hope that helps, cheers, the more fantasy players the better.
