wood color recipes

hi, i was wondering if anyones got any really good wood color recipes , the sort of colors im looking for are like the wheels of victoria lambs gael chariot

Calabdark: you could always PM her and ask she was polite enough to reply to me.

As to my receipe I\'ve used Gw\'s Scorched brown as the base. Bestial Brown 2nd coatand then mixed in Vomit brown to varying levels.

i pm her about 10 days ago, and havent received a reply, so im guessing shes prob quite busy at mo and theres some chariots i want to paint soon,

ive painted wood with similar recipe as that before but with bleached bone instead of vomit, ill give vomit a bash

Okay, I have a program on my Photoshop that allows me to generate wood patterns and it has several settings. I also can pick out colors by eye, so here we go (all colors Vallejo):

Ebony:
Basecoat: Black
Highlight: Cork Brown
Cedar:
Basecoat: Orange Brown
Highlight: Vermillion

Cherry:
Basecoat: Black
Highlight: Red (926)

Oak:
Basecoat: English Uniform
Highlight: Beige
