Found this old GW figure in the loft yesterday (he is currently in a bath of cellulose thinners) and thought I would google him and see what other painters have done. I found 1 lonely example here.

Any suggestions of colour scheme? I still am learning the art of painting these guys and need some inspiration.

Wow, that must be oooooold. It's been decades since GW did fun little one-offs like that. It probably dates tot he same era as the Christmas Space Marines, and the Chaos Lavatory.

I think this is pre 40k, I think I bought this and 3 Chainsaw warrior minis. They were some of the first slotta bases IIRC.

I have this guy. And I painted him in green robes. I need to put some photos in my CMON gallery.

Just took him out of the bath, year made was 1987.

Here he is all cleaned up, cant decide on a colour for his robe and hat yet.
