Ok so here comes my Wraithlord... har har :D

Heavily WIP, just what I started today... my plan? Doing him like an ancient samurai, standing there with one feet on a big stone-thing-plateu... holding the sword with both hands, ready to strike each enemy with the ancient fury of...

ok - i know - here are the pics :D

Looks good, i think i can see a couple of mouldlines though, theres one on his left shoulder pad, and one on the piece behind his right shoulder pad.
And you might want to build a bit of greenstuff on to where you have cut the knee.

which way are you going to put the weapon? Is it going to be in front of the model with a two handes grip?

These aren\'t mould lines but slight gaps where the two sections of the figure join together.
The Wraithlord I\'m working on I was fortunate to be able to Clamp together while the glue dried. This stopped the gaps but meant that I needed to sand the join down.

So are the pieces warped?

Yeah Dragonsreach is right... but i wasn\'t able to hold those things together for minutes so... i\'ll do it with GS later.

For now I am working around to get those 2 arms working together to hold this brilliant sword... I repositioned his right shoulderpad :)

Pics soon...

So basically, the lines on the shoulders are exactly the same problem as with the guardians? Man that sucks. still easily resolved as you said.

why is everyone acting like the joint line is a strange phenomina? theres tones of models with joint lines(not mould lines)

heck every single chaos space marine plastic torso!

Sounds like a cool idea for a conversion. I\'ll be watching this thread... and eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Andrea Miniatures figures from the Last Samurai. Katsumoto should be an absolute joy to paint :D

Anyway, most of the models that have a big seam like this have it in a spot that doesn\'t matter. These shoulder pads are pretty eye catching, especially if they are an accent color or have a lot of fine detail work there.

So, damn that was some adventure to get those arms in the correct position...
