WIP Dwarf slayer and champion

Greetings all, After a long while of dry brushes (due to moving and having 3 young children) I have finally started to find the time to start painting again.

I plan to collect a dwarf army (my first warhammer army) and would love some feedback on the images below.

I would normally call it done with these two (apart from the base edge) but would like to see if you guys have any advice in pushing the paintjobs further..

I have added a few little details to the slayer (tatto and patches on his trousers) and am really happy with the metals (good contrast in real life).

How do they look to you lot???

Any advice???

Ive just started painting on a white basecote (always used black before) and must say its sooo refreshing!!!

Thanks for any info in advance,

Psysquig.

I\'d suggest deepening the shadows on the dwarf\'s skin- especially around the muscles. It will make them stand out more. I\'d also suggest adding a little more contrast to the skin overall.

The red hair could use with some darker shadows to make it stand out. It looks flat and painted.

I really like the green trousers, and I also really like the blond beard on the other dwarf.

Good job so far;)
