Winged Hive Tyrant wip

at GDUK this year i got myself a forgeworld winged hive tyrant. i had to do a lot of cleaning up as it had a lot of sprue affecting it so i decided to have a go at customising it into a more interesting pose and ive given it a more promenant crest as well as altering one of the scything arms. its got a different tongue too
heres a rough pose of it at the moment, the wings and scything arms are only held in place by pins loosely, the final pose might change a little.

im contemplating raising it up as if its landing on a rock or something as i cant quite decide if it looks like its running or landing at the moment.

It is just impossible to get over a certain film-inspired Giger-type influence on certain \'nids isn\'t it... lol

Umm... I\'m tired, but I\'d say in that pose, it looks like (s)he(?!) is coming IN to land...

Yup, landing for sure, I\'d think. If you wanted a running pose I think reversing the scything arms is needed. I.E. move his left arm back and his right arm forward.

Cool pose either way.

I didn\'t think it would stay in the box long. I also think you were very brave letting me look after your bags. My nids would welcome a winged hive tyrant to their brood.

ive always been told im too trusting...besides you were there for the cmon meeting and people were already starting to gather lol
