Being a freak is about a title and random role play that you can get without posting inane things like this. At least when I was a few years younger and eager to post pad I took the time to write about something, even if that something was super bizarre. Anyhow..

Since I had no clue what that meant I had to look it up (yeah I can use multiple web pages at one time ....

de rigueur
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

expression that literally means \"of rigor\" or \"of strictness\". In English language usage, it means, \"necessary according to etiquette, protocol or fashion.\"[1]

Something that is de rigueur is required by convention or fashion, but not by any hard rule. For example, among the upper classes during the Victorian era, dressing for dinner was de rigueur.

\"De rigueur\" is also a type of standard similar to a de facto standard, though de facto refers to a practice that is practically law.

Like many other foreign language phrases used in English, it is often italicized when used in a written sentence.

So now that I am educated on what that phrase was... I still do not understand why he is flaming me, I havent seen a post of his since I logged onto this site and all of a sudden ... wow he is offended that I am posting on boards for a miniature painting forum (get a life)

It would be rather hypocritical for someone with 9000+ posted thread comments (most of which are inane) to condemn someone for wanting to freak.
However there are ways and means of doing it without ruffling feathers.

Generally the moderators take a rather lax view on such things (hey, seen how many posts we all have?) but the forum rules prohibit Attention Seeking Behaviour which this could easily be classed as.

Bigdennis52 if you want to work towards freakdom, do it subtley, or with panache, not as a bulldozer. ;)

@Ainulainor: lol I thought I was the rigid old school teacher type. Get a life son. lol

Flaming is posting offensive things, there is a difference between that and being aggravated enough to make multiple efforts to improve one\'s forum ettiquete. Telling someone to get a life, for example, is flaming, especially when every forum post listed on the main CMON page is \"Bigdennis 52\". I am more of a lurker on these boards nowadays, but you\'re annoying the hell out of me and a few others.

EDIT: @Mike- I haven\'t been on CMON for this long in a while, gimme a break willya? :p

Not mad ....Insane :)
Think of Freaking as being like a bottle of wine, you either take the time savour the full rich flavour and aroma of each glass, or knock it back like cheap plonk and get bladdered. :D
