Who has an eye for color? Take a guess!

The model found here http://www.coolminiornot.com/36940 has the blue color I\'m looking for to paint my own models in. I already messaged the artist, but I\'m in a bit of a rush as I need to buy the paints soon, so does anyone have any ideas what colors were used to get that blue color?

It looks like Ultramarines Blue as a basecoat, then Ultramarines mixed with Lightning Blue up to white for highlights. Anybody have any other ideas?

I dont use GW colors so I dont know the names they would use....BUT, if I were to do that blue I would use Prussian blue, burnt sienna, white. Or Prussian blue, black and white. Prussian blue is a definate blue with a SLIGHT green leaning (not so far as turquoise) burnt sienna is just dark brown. Good luck.

hmm, i actually wouldn\'t say it looked like ultramarines for a basecoat, actually looks more like utramarines, mixed with a small amount of chaos black and codex grey, and then highlighted with bleached bone, i think the best thing would be to experiment and pick the one closest.

shadow grey belive it or not atleast thats as close as i could get it... ( i did guesse a metallic silver colour exact shade on a crappy webcam before...) i do belive its shadow grey not 100% sure tho

Shadow Grey? Hadn\'t even thought of that one... that mixed with Ultramarines Blue could be the base. Ultramarines + Bleached Bone for the highlights would make sense too. The mystery deepens!

My guess is shadow grey highlighted with spacewolf grey. It\'s a bit too blue perhaps, but the photo can screw those things up a bit as well. Let us know when you find out, will you?

I would have guessed like avalorn, black->Shadow grey->SW grey, with a thin glaze of ultramarines blue over it (then rehighlight with SW grey). At least I think that\'s how I\'d do it.

Base of regal blue, highlighted with Regal Blue+Shadow Grey+Fortress Grey. There you have it, thanks for the help guys!
