Where to buy loose 40k weapons?

I\'ve got a bunch of Rackham Dirz models that I\'ve been dreaming of converting into a Necromunda gang, but my bits box is a little light on 40k weaponry. I\'ll probably give most of them plastic IG lasguns from the War Store, even though they\'re a touch pricy, but I\'d like a little more variety. Does anyone have suggestions for where to find loose autopistols, plasma pistols, etc.?

forgeworld do a pricey set of lasguns that are a bit different. try phoning gw. they used to do a handy pistol sprue for necromunda type stuff. also try going to the trading forum here

go and join bartertown (www.bartertown.com) and post a request in the bits section.

It\'s a site for trade and selling used or new miniatures. v useful.

There\'s also a trading post section of this very forum. Could post in there too asking for bits.

If you have an Ebay account, you can get it from this seller.

phaen, didnt you read his first post, it says that:

plastic IG lasguns from the War Store, even though they\'re a touch pricy

meaning that he want some differnt stuff from a cheaper provider ;)

If it was me, i would check my local gw and see if anybody wanted to swap some bits

The guy who runs back to base-ix also has a huge range of kits that he has broken up and selling as bitz. I am not sure if it is linked direct to his website but I have bought from him via his ebay store.

Heh, it just so happens I went on a bits binge the last couple weeks!

I order bits both from The WarStore and from http://www.bitzbox.co.uk -- Bitz Box usually has a better selection and is a mostly a little bit cheaper, their shipping to America is reasonable at $5, and they have fast response and great customer service via their forums; The WarStore does have a few things cheaper, has faster and slightly cheaper shipping for me (since we\'re both in the States), and I\'ve had equally great customer service from Neal and his people in the past.

Any time I need bits, I always check both sites thoroughly to see who\'s got stock and who will have the best deal for me, and I\'d recommend to anyone else to do the same: use both stores. In fact, I just placed a BitzBox order at the end of last week, and I\'ll be placing a WarStore order either today or tomorrow! But I\'ve also bought from each before, so I feel confident recommending them even before I\'ve got my stuff this time.

Finally, you can also check out this eBay seller: http://stores.ebay.com/Hoard-O-Bits -- I just won a bunch of their bits auctions and/or BIN items over the last couple weeks. I haven\'t used them before and it\'ll be at least the end of this week before my bits could arrive, but they do a great combined shipping discount and have also done a great job so far at customer service -- they let me go 9 days total between my first BIN purchase and waiting for my last auction purchase to close so that everything (10+ sales, total) could be combined as one; and when I just missed one auction item because it went way higher than it should\'ve*, I wrote to them and asked them about more availability, and the next day the wrote back to let me know they\'d put up a new one as BIN for me (and at a reasonable price, too!). So far, I\'m impressed.
