@dennismech spooky, I was searching the site for his stuff last night, his posts are gone and have been repaced by other minis.
Conspiracy????

Okay. This is wierd. If the message on his site is sincere, more power to him. If it\'s a joke...:(

Live and let live.
I really wanted to get a mini of one of his greens.:(

wierd...

Maybe he\'s trying to see if images of violently flayed flesh will provoke more of an \'ick\' reaction than oversized breasts?

\'cos ewgh.

It\'d be an odd joke.

Hmm. If the message on the site is serious, then it sounds as if he\'s \"born again.\" Which most likely means he\'s not going to be doing any more of his outrageous conversions... :(

No offense to anybody, but I just don\'t get that whole massive shift that some people do when they \"find religion.\"

promise....not to....say......anything....

I have opinions, but this isn\'t the place for a theological debate methinks. I can say this, If this makes Axebone feel good, then that is good.

no offence to any religous zealots, believers, followers etc...but that\'s just a little weird.....I know some born again christians, and they still play Warhammer.....it\'s just a game you know, god ain\'t gonna send you to hell for playing a boardgame.....

Me, i\'m destined for it anyways, because I hear they don\'t like hyperactive caffeine junkies like me in heaven, and I wanna say hello to Jim Morrison ;)

Whoa, now that\'s harcore. A similar thing happened to one of my favourite musicians. A damn shame.

But Mungo\'s right, if that\'s what he wants then it\'s the right thing.

And Tammy, any idea where I could find Hitler? Up or down? I still have to pick a bone with that rat.

Oh and another thought, what will he do with all his miniatures now? Sell them, give them to someone else, throw them away...or God beware, burn them?

Now this is really making me miserable. :(

*chuckles* Well, I suspect that counts a lot of mini painters out of the pearly gates!

*sips his coffee*

aaahhh

but as for Axebone... whoah certainly wouldnt have expected that... and it doesnt seem like a joke... he should have put up a pic of Brad Pitt from Troy if he was joking...

Or maybe Gandalf the White...

But Jesus Christ? hmmm I think he is serious... similar thing happened to one of my best friends a few years back - pretty much disappeared stopped training kung fu with us, and basically stopped socialising with anyone who wasnt in his church group... that was sad...

But as has been said before, if that is your thing Axebone, go for it - who are we to judge :)

in a nutshell....

Can you tell me what his site says...

The \"smartfilter\" I have on this work computer won\'t let me view his link.

His stuff was very unusual, and very much his own style.

For SuperVike:

\"For those of you looking for Axebone... he does not exist any longer.
That life... and that artwork... are forever gone from me now.

I have met a man that has given my life... and my life\'s purpose...
an entirely new perspective.
A man that loves me so completely that he would allow himself to be tortured,
mocked and humiliated,
the flesh stripped from his body
and cruxified upon a wooden cross...
so that I might have eternal, everlasting life in God\'s Kingdom.

I know I will never be truely worthy of this sacrifice...
this wonderous love...
but, I plan to spend the remainder of my days in this mortal life
trying to make him proud of me.\"

That\'s the text, accompanied by a picture of a crucified Christ at the top and a glowing red cross on the bottom.

wow.

Yeah, that does sound pretty serious.

To each his own, I guess.

Thanks Mr. Dauber for filling me in! I take back all those bad things I keep saying about you....

Well, it\'s all about personal choice. If this is what he has decided then that\'s fine by me (and my opinion doesn\'t even count ).

But am I the only one that when looking at his webpage thought \'Woah, he\'s started worshiping Jim Cazaviel?\'

If I was going to seriously go \'born again\' like that I wouldn\'t use a picture from the latest hollywood blockbuster :D

Well, perhaps he saw the movie and it lead to his conversion. Dont know, and really dont want to get into a theological discussion here - I had enough of them growing up about how I was going to Hell for dancing or playing D&D or not being Born Again, so its a bit of a tender subject with me. If it makes him happy thats great, but I really dont want to deal with it myself.

Sounds kinda bitter, dont it? Perhaps you would be bitter too if you spent your formative years in Jerusalem on the Brazos.
