What scale for necromunda ladders?

Um I guess this is the best place to post this thread.

I'm looking at buying some ladders for a piece of necromunda scenery I'm making; a tower for the 'lord of the spire' scenario.

I've found some for sale at www.modelshop.co.uk but was wondering what scale I need, 1:25, 1:50 or 1:100.

p.s alternatively if anyone has a quick and cheap way of making them then let me know, I was thinking of cutting platicard rods down to size, but thought this would prove more costly than buying an actual ladder.

Cheers

They don't make the ratio that exactly corresponds to Necro's 28mm as far I'm aware. Can get close enough to blag it though. The proper size is around the 1:52 mark, give or take a tad, or a smidgeon, or an ikkly bit.

I've used them from other ranges, necro' especially is quite forgiving with things looking a bit off, it's all scrap in the underhive so anything goes.
Though I've also banged out some working necro ladders with various evergreen plastics. A tube for the uprights, and small solid rods for the steps . Tis a simple matter to drill into the tube for the rods to be inserted following a dab of glue. For extra scrapiness I didn't bother measuring anything, just made a vague effort at maintaining regularity which was more often than not just a wee bit (1mm) off. Drilled holes for the steps came out at slightly uneven increments, similarly the rod/steps being of a less than uniform length can result in some sticking out more than others for that "not made by craftsmen but by folk whose only experience of tools is using them to clobber someone with" effect. :p
