....is a 2yr old doing on a Level Crossing?!!

Just heard on the radio a 2yr old was hit (and killed) by a train on a Level Xing!

What was he doing anywhere near it?!

They\'re mobile at that stage, aren\'t they? I have to say, it might not be completely the parents\' fault. I had a horrible habit of disappearing once I could walk, and caused my Mum and Dad several panic attacks when they couldn\'t find me. It\'s probably a miracle something like that didn\'t happen to me.

Very sad though.

Yeah, when we were kids my mum turned her back for 30 seconds and my 3 yr old brother wandered out of her friends garden. He was found by a cyclist wandering along the lane, but could easily have ended up under a car...

yeah, I know they can disappear in half a second, had a few scares myself when mine where growing up


....just came on the radio, they said his mum tried to stop him, I can only imagine how she is feeling at this moment
....and they are investigating the gates which had recently been modified

That is quite sad... It\'s awful when those kinds of things happen.
It is possible though, it happened on the X-Files, though that was paranormal...
