What models have you seen too much of?

For me it\'s space marines.

I\'m tired of them. How many do we need to see? (that\'s not saying that some of them aren\'t beautifully painted)... I\'m also getting a bit worn out on snow bases.

On the other hand I would love to see more Infinity figures on this site. They have some cool stuff. for those who haven\'t seen any of their figs click here-

I see tons of Saint Celestine (sp?) and just about all versions of her are converted with the addition of wings. I swear, they should have made that blister come with a wing option. lol

Let us not forget the Rackham style cork basing too, way overdone. Grey cork \"stone\" with green sand.

EDIT: Oh how could I have forgotten The Emperor\'s Champion! Nearly everyone on this site has painted one of those.

I don\'t mind Space Marines as such (only mildly bored with them). Ultramarines are really done to death IMO. Probably doesn\'t help that they are so damned normal. Give me a nice feral Space wolf any day!

Yep, Celestine is a bit too ubiquitous. Have seen some awesome conversions of her though. On CMoN, those newish GW Dwarf Lords seem to be popping up all the time! Loads of the little buggers all over the site, and on eBay lol I think the dwarves have been GW\'s most successful addition to their line this year.

Space Marines are also a bit irritating, but you don\'t see such a disproportionate amount on CMoN... oh, and Wolfen. Too many of them :D

Oi, steely, I\'m only doing GW stuff atm, and wood elves are strongly positioned in the que :p

I must say I do like new figures rather than the same one, over and over again, however, we all want to paint whats inspired us, and thats probably why we get so many coming up.

I was going to try some Space Marines :(

I agree with most so far though Wolfen, and St what\'s here name do get submitted a lot.

This is hard as it\'s all down to personal preference and interests etc. For me, I\'m not overly interested in Space Marines - as has been stated before, the figures themselves are a bit samy. However, I have seen a few excellently work SM examples on the site that have made me think \"wow\" (and I usually comment accordingly). Also, for a lot of us \"not so great artists\" we might post what seem to be very basic minis that have been done to death because that\'s the stage we\'re at - not ready for huge conversions, diroamas or more challenging minis until we\'ve worked on our technique more.

Having said all that, I could do with seeing less Green Knights and their ilk - although very impressive, I find the filigree(?) makes my eyes hurt.

Ok, Krom - how bout the Wood Elf Warlord or what ever the hell its called - after the St Celestine, thats the one I see most frequently here.

Space marines, just space marines. Any other mini, including wolfen and Celestine, are still good to squizz at when they\'re well painted. But a well painted space marine has zero effect on me.

While not a mini, I think the small Rohan house as demonstrated by GW and copied by everyone into LotR is overdone. I just finished rating every single piece of Terrain in the database and must have seen 25 of them. Now just wait till I add my own when I get it built. :p

whatever is new out..vostroyans p$%*ed me off for a while...then sicarius...then the nurgle demon prince.....
A lot of people complain about gw on this here site but everyone seems to be buyig the new ones...

model that just don\'t do it for me are the Cynwall elves from rackham just crap looking models even when painted by the best artists..

Also any model that is a direct copy of a studio paint job whatever it\'s type..(unless of course it\'s a uniform thing)
