what do you think of my painting?

i think you need to neaten up on your metallics, and use inks, and washes to give structure to them.
ps coke is bad for you (even if it is diet)lol

OK, now you\'ve figured out how to post a pic. Now let\'s work on your photo skills.

Think portrait. That nice overhead view does nothing for your painting other than make the mini look short.

Go to the articles section and read up on photography. Lighting, backdrops, etc.

Notice the yellow tint to this photo? you used a standard bulb. Try a halogen or a Reveal bulb to help get rid of the yellow tint. Other options are to get the camera to white balance for incandesent light. (it applies an artificial blue filter).

Not being harsh, just trying to help.

its a bad pic because i did it in like 3 mins rushed before i went to bed yesterday (im in UK)

whats a halogen/reveal bulb?

A halogen bulb uses a different gas/wire to make a whiter light.

Reveal bulbs are incandesent bulbs from GE with a blue coat on the inside of the glass.

There are also some color corrected flourescents out there too. OTT, Day-Lite, etc.

@ daemon boy... You got that right. Coke is bad for you and whats more Diet Coke is EVEN worse than the normal Coke. We don\'t use it to unblock gastric feeding tubes and naso gastric tubes for nothing. Just like the draino of the gastric tube world. Imagine what it is doing to your stomach if it is used to unblock tubes in hospitals. Helped cure me of my 2litre diet coke habit and now I drink water.

That mini looks short anyway though, missing its mid section and all.

But its a good start anyway, nice little bit of highlighting going on from what I can see.
