What Did You Paint Today?

Hi everybody and welcome to the \"What Did You Paint Today?\" thread. I figured it might be nice, instead of sometimes talking about what we haven\'t done or are going to do in terms of painting, if we shared with one and other what we have done today. Not as a competition, mind, but like, to encourage one and other and perhaps provide motivation when the wall is looming!

Today I spent a couple hours working on an Eversor Assassin—the one with the severed head. I worked on his legs and abdomen, one arm, and feel that I did a really nice job of his head and face. I also got a basic start on some of his backpack. I might still work on him some more before bed.

Next up is…

I spent about two hours working on a Sister of the Blade from Reaper.

i painted up my bridge made from hirst blocks. i\'m really pleased with it, my terrain peices are usually pretty rubish.

Just painted around some minutes on the...tantacles of my Gorgon.

Well some trusting soul from America sent me a High Elf from Iron Winds to paint.
Unfortunatley I didn\'t like it so it\'s gone in the Bin. lol lol lol.

Only kidding Darth, I\'ve had to strip off the primer as there was some damage to it. The model\'s fine however, and will be getting re-primed and worked on over the next few painting sessions.

I\'m looking forward to painting him for two reasons,
1) It\'s the first Iron Winds I\'ve seen. (Nice quality)
2) It\'s payback for the Batman Darth sent me.

No painting done today whatsoever. All of my stuff is about 12000 miles away right now - and since I aint at my permanent posting it will be a while before I get it.

Umm, just finished a Gobbo Shaman, and painting a Dwarf Ironbreaker and two of eight of a Vampire Counts knight unir i\'ve converted as a commission for a friend

Yesterday: Spent at my brother\'s graduation. Although I took some minis and tools for prepping, taking care of my son while taking pictures ended up taking all my time.

Today: Will spend trying to get a closet cleared out so I can permanently set up my painting gear in a place where my son can\'t get to it. :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

This is, of course, when I wake up.

Tomorrow: Will be my first day back to work since my son was born. I\'ll be taking some minis and gear for prepping, but I don\'t know how much time I\'ll have during lunch and breaks to get things done (or how many times I\'ll call the sitter to check on my son).

I\'ve been working on the SOB Exorcist, for days and dasys now, it\'s a bunch of work. But I am starting to like the looks of it. I\'ll post it around the end of this week with any luck.

I\'ve been working on a Brettonian Standard bearer...I\'m never gonna do one of them again How much detail on that thing?

I have converted a dragon and am learning a new way to do things from a very patient idol. It is the most fun since I started.

Been trying to finish my Confrontation Falconer of Alahan. The falcon is proving to be tricky. I might add a few extra highlights to the falconer\'s bed roll and pouch as well.

But I have been casting Hirst blocks up like a champion (again).

Another couple of weekends and I should be able to build an extension to my house using only Hirst blocks...I have some sort of dungeony, turretty, towery thing in mind...:flip:
