What colours for Skaven skin?

I\'ve just acquired a Skaven Blood bowl team and was wondering what colours people use for their skin? The guides I\'ve seen use either vermin brown or bornzed flesh.

I\'ve currently undercoated it tallarn flesh and quite like the pink against the brown fur, both vermin brown (for obvious reasons)and bronzed flesh seem too brown to me and I wanted the skin to stand out. I normally do human skin 50/50 dwarf and elf flesh would that work?

Just wondering what others use as I\'ve never painted anything other than space marines before.

Two words for you....

Albino rats.

My Skaven team is a ways down on my list of Blood Bowl projects, so I don\'t have any pics to show or anything, but when I do finally get to them, my fur scheme will be:

Blitzers = Grey (storm clouds, ala their former Storm Vermin nomenclature)
Gutter Runners = Black (darkness and shadows)
Throwers = White (albino, smart leaders like Brain ala Pinky & the Brain)
Linerats = Brown (average & boring)

So while I hadn\'t thought much about the flesh itself, I\'ll probably vary it accordingly -- pink for the albinos, tan for brown, varying greys for the black/grey.

I was thinking along the same line for my fur colours, but didn\'t think of Albino\'s.

I talked myself out of different fur colours, as my gutter runners are having black capes and the blitzers are having black plate armour, so not sure whether black/grey fur would go very well as it might just look like a dark blob.

I suppose if i used a light grey, say highlight up to astronomican or space wolves, and I could give the gutter runner chardon granite capes instead of black, hmmm I\'m talking myself back into it. I\'ll have to re-paint my thrower though, already painted him brown...................only one I have paint on,lol
