I\'m starting to invest in Vajello paints and wanted to know what must-have colors there may be? I\'ve also ordered Smoke and Azure..any other suggestions are really welcomed as I don\'t have piles o\'cash to invest in paints I\'ll rarely use. Possibly there may already be a list of basics in premium paints? If so, sorry for the repetive post..so much out there to cover and very little time to do it in.

My supply so far:
Dark Flesh
Light Flesh
Black
White
Flat Flesh
Burnt Umber
Luftwaffe Uniform
Dark Prussian Blue
USA Uniform Green
Brown Rose
Basic Skin tone
Pale Sand
Cork Brown
Sunny Skin tone
Mahogany Brown

Thanks everyone, I look foward to seeing your respones. :)

ps: Just to clarify..I do have a full selection of Citadel paints and while happy with them, I am much happier with Vajello and wish to get LOTS more once I have my basics bought.

just gonna throw ideas out here.

I have dark flesh, and when lightened with white, the results are super. I don\'t know if you really need the other skin tones.

if you like red, try
burnt cadmium red 814. its a very dark red, that i use for the base of all my red work. i then use red and vermillion to lighten it up as I go. *with a final touch of yellow*

Oily Steel. a vallejo metallic. 865
london grey, close to codex grey 836
silvergrey 883. a nice light grey.
cavalry brown 982, a reddish brown
flat brown 984

well, those are some of my most used paints. but it will all come down to what your favorite colors are to paint with. I prefer browns, reds, grey, some green. earthy colors.

good luck!
