Warmachine - Considered Second Class?

Is it just me or are the Warmachine mini\'s considered 2nd class citizens by many on this site? I\'ve been looking through the galleries and finding tons of great PP mini\'s, painted extremely well which seem to have exceptionally low scores compared to other lines.

i think it\'s just you. there are a gajillion minis on this site. PP minis are well represented given it\'s player base.

I\'ve just had a good look and there\'s some very good rated ones on here as well, maybe it\'s because some people only know GW or other famous companies and therefore maybe vote lower because they are not familier with PP.

I have not bought any yet, but from what I\'ve seen on this site I would say they have some very nice mini\'s. I will certainly be buying some in the future:D
Thanks for that, I just got some great pleasure looking through all/most of PP stuff on here:eek::D

I think one of the problems may be that it, Privateer Press, still has a rather small folowing, at least compared to GW. I have only paited 1, but I enjoyed the heck out of it.

I have also loved looking through Fluffy\'s gallery.

warmachine have great base now with iron kingdoms hordes and warmachine.the miniatures are great.

they are always growing i think they have expanded 2- 3 times now and have only just moved into new premesis and work hard to keep up with demand

They are beatifully sculpted, which is great. But the only problem i have is i don\'t understand how (in real life) The giant torso/head would be supported by tiny legs, and all of the \"mech\" ones seem to all look the same and have the same pose. It\'s pretty much that that\'s kept me away from getting some, mostly the second issue. But everything else i\'ve seem (humans, smaller \"mechs\", and armor-clad humans) seem to be great. And from what i\'ve heard about on the rules side of the game have been nothing but good. I might give it a go once i get all of my 40k projects finished.

in the fluff the jacks are based on chassis and then they are put into different groups with weapons and armour ect.

its not that hard to alter the jacks poses as most of them come in many pieces
