Painting this model was crazy.....this was for a store competition that they held for the release of the new skaven army. I got this guy Saturday evening and painted him non stop till the next day in order to have him ready for judging. This was my first speed painting (if around 12 hours straight is considered speed painting) and I was quite happy with it, though I could have done more, but the time did not allow me to do so. Hope you like him. Comments are always welcomed.

nice work on the base, as for the model needs more highlight on all colours, the pictures are dark but still I can not see much in the way of highlight.
Still for a rush job (i do not think 12 hours is speed painting but 12 hour straight cant be good for you) the figure is good.
Next figure you do post a wip with good big pictures and let us rip it apart, opps I meant crit it

12 hours straight would probably kill me... nice mini, first time i see it. will probably buy one just to get the banner/pole the paintjob need more shading/highligt, especially the metals look very flat. but then again, for 12 hours instant pain(t)job the figure is good.

Don't think I'm a fan of the new skaven...they seem a bit overdone.

Your painting is a good solid one, but I think it needs more contrast to pop out more.

Thanks guys for your comments. Though I don't play skaven...I fell in love with the new models...two of which are Snikch and the farseer on the new plastic bell. Hopefully I can get a hold on Snikch and post him here.
