Well I for one can\'t read Polish but I had heard that GW were planning plastic hills and buildings, I thought the hills would have been in sections though like the ones that came out with the Battle of Five Armies set.

Nice to see the plastic flagulents or what ever you want to call them leads me to think lots of conversions will be seen with these.

The rocket launcher thingy I have heard is released here in the summer for the summer campaign.

Interesting to see Mighty Empire tiles being produced, that is an excellent system for working out campaigns as well as a stand alone game so I for one will be watching for them.

Overall an interesting bundle of plastic bits but it does lead me to wonder what the exact release dates for this lot is apart from the rumours and that the paints are an April release.

Thanks for sharing Neil, no doubt these will be appearing on EBay soon with the Polish painters :D

Wow,
Awesome sprues, Black Orcs and Flagellants in plastic, now they wont cost a bomb for a unit of 20 (hopefully   )

Btw my hellstorm rocket battery is way better than GW\'s:D:D

Most of thius stuff Ive herd was coming out..the flagellants are a nice supprise though as Ive always wanted to build that type of army.

What Im still waiting to see is the new Empire plastic Knights set Ive her rumors of.

nice stuff! I can\'t see the scenery being immensely popular when it comes out but I do like the wizard sprue. could lead to some interesting chaos sorcerers.

some pretty cool stuff there. although the hex-boards look a bit crap - why the thick edges?

some great conversion possibilities

Thanks Albert, seeing the buildings assembled on the box front helps a lot, I quite like them to be honest, th eonly thing amongst it all that I am not that keen on is the hill, even the tree set looks quite good.

Magnifying the image of the Mighty Empires tiles I can see that they have the towns/cities cast into them, that is a shame it would have been nice to have them seperate so that it was also possible to use the bits from the early releases. How well these will sell I do not know because it is more a specialist game release and I can\'t see the average 13 to 16 year old getting all gooey over these.

Tim the thick edges on the hexes are probably so you can link them easier the old tiles used to be card and moved around something cronic during the game.

I stuck mine to sheets of photographic card so all I had to do was lie the sheets next to each other.

Thinking about it the tiles if released like this could be quite expensive as you need quite a lot of them for a decent game. Wish I hadn\'t just thought of that

@ War Griffon GHQ makes a terrain system called Terrain Maker. Its a series of foam hexes about 4-5 inches across maybe that you can model your own terrain on by carving them and addinf ground work. Might work nice for creating you own Warmaster boards.

This does not bode well for my wallet... I\'ve been dreaming of plastic black orcs for years... and the terrain looks great too... So little money left... :(

Thanks for that Jeff, it sounds very much like the stuff that Kalistra does for thier 10mm figures and rules, each hex is 100mm across and you can then just plonk hills etc on top of it. LINK
They move by the hex though rather than a set distance so not quite the same as Warmaster and a bit bigger than Mighty Empires tiles.

@martyn - surely there must be a better way of securing them though. of course i know little of the mold making process so my ideas are probably impossible to do in real life

Yes Tim there probably are better ways of securing them the Hexon set use clips on the underneath so this might have been a better way rather than have the ugly sides on the tiles to bulk them or maybe even to make the tiles the same hieght but with out the rims around the top but who knows at the moment the full purpose that GW have in mind for these ???
