Hey, been working on his this week, pretty fun sculpt.
I botched the priming by trying this out:

But it\'s not AWFUL, I mean, airbubbles aside.

I have to be honest with you here, you\'d be best off stripping the gesso off and completely re-priming it.
You\'ve lost a lot of detail in what looks to be a good (if complex) mini.

I agree with Dragonsreach strip the mini and start again. It is a very nice mini and you want to do it justice :)

I would re strip the figure too, i have it and there is so much detail on it and with the primer you have lost a lot of it.

Also where his axe?painting it separately?

great figure though, once i have painted my high elf army and ultramarine army im gona do mine

Do you think I should spray prime him, or just try with a thinner coat of gesso.

Also, from what was done on the face/goblin, was it clean enough, I was pretty happy with the goblin, but the orc face was a bit bothersome.
