Want some feedback on a converted doomseeker

Hey guys, I finally got the courage to start painting up one of my favourite conversions. I\'m currently in the middle of this.

List of things done:
1. The metals are done save for the few little touch-ups that the pictures have brought to my attention. I may toss in a little bit more of a wash to add some extra colour to the metals but I can\'t highlight any further as the hotspots are already metallic medium.
2. Although you can\'t see the trousers amazingly well in the pictures, they are for the most part done. Doing them multi colour and then adding the patch was quite fun.
3. The skin tone is probably my best and I\'m really liking how it turned out. Although you can\'t see it just by looking at the model, the left eye needs a bit of touching up. I guess I took it to far when I decided to layer different colours of blue into his pupil. Slight touch-up there.

In particular, I would like advice on what has already been done as well as what you think I should do with the gem on his left shoulder (colours, types, etc.). I\'m also interested in how you think I should take the fur cloak on his back.

Included are the pictures done after it was converted and what it looks like now with paint on it. Thanks in advance for your help.

p.s. For those of you who spotted that the left hand/arm doesn\'t look as well finished as the rest of the model, this is because I will be attaching a shield to the area which will cover everything up. As such I didn\'t quite put as much effort into the area as I did with the rest.

Well, let me say - if you hadn\'t included pictures of the green work I would\'ve thought this was a studio sculpt! VERY good quality, and painted just as well :p

Could do with better photos though!

Thanks for the encouragement DaN. Here are the pics that make up the panorama. Just not shrunken (I upload my pics to Bugman\'s but they don\'t make room for really detailed pics).

I hope that these pictures are a little more palatable. If you want a certain angle just let me know and I can snap it.

Remember, right now I want to focus on how best to do the gem and the furtail cloak. But advice on anything else is still welcome.

I hate it when people hardly comment on your WIPs (Not just yours in general lol)

Anyway - Yeah he looks great - the only thing I don\'t like is the shield, but that\'s just personal taste.

He looks like a right grumpy sod :D
