Nice to see some new stuff from you man, havn\'t talked to you in awhile. The WIPs are looking good so far, although not much to say about them since there isn\'t much done to them. The Kroot on the other hand are looking pretty good, should look great for a tabletop standard once you are done with the unit. You are right the pics are crap. :)

Nice red on the beserker, just wondering what reds you used?a mate is doing a khorne fantasy army and the red you used may just be perfect for it.

The rest are looking pretty good so far

Thanks for the comment.
Heres the recipe for the reds:
basecoat: VMC Cadm.umber red
Shade: Base+black+dark angels green
highlight: VMC red + Blood red.

Start with the base coat.
Shade 3 steps from base to darkest shade(almost black)
Highlight from base to vmc red and blood red 60/40. Dont overdo it.
Finally glaze with basecoat+a small tocuh of black.
I hope it helps.:)

Heres another thing Ive been working on.
A trollblood axer from privateer press.
Skin is pretty much finished, just needs another hl and some glazes with purple. The leather \'\'dress\'\' is also finished. I\'m going to start working on the metals today. So far Ive spent nearly 4 hours on him, including 2 hours on the base :D. I still cant get the pics right. But its better than nothing.
Here goes!

LOVE the contrast between the skin and the grimy metal. The fellow at the top has a good grimy, worn look. Be good to see some pix that are color corrected.

Can\'t wait to see the skin when it is completely done. Right now it looks like it is lacking one or more two highlights. The leather on the other hand looks pretty good man. You didn\'t over do it by highlighting it too much which is good, makes it look a bit more realistic for lack of a better word. :)

Thanks for the C&C diablo!
I cant get the pics right. You can almost see the purple shading and the skin looks dull. The metal is pretty much finished. Just needs some highlights on the edges and rivets.

You are right the skin does look a bit dull in the pics. The metallics on the other hand look great. Would you mind sharing your recipe for them? I would love to give them a try.

Metallics:
Basecoat with boltgun. highlight with chain and mithril. Shade with boltgun+black.
laze the area with VMC smoke, Vmc Flat earth, VMC Dark blue and MIG pigments. Just add any color that you want but keep it thin.

And heres a 90mm mini Ive been working on. Leather pants finished, straps needs more shading.
