Victoria Lamb, Cyril...?? *Looks Around*

Hey,

Shes still number 1, but where is she...
I havent been on the forums forever, a few months now, but i have noticed people like Victoria Lamb and Cyril have disappeared. :(
Where do all these \'greats\' go??
Is there a even more special club/forum that they all go to. lol

Mate...Vic hardly ever posts... so yes you won\'t see her or would have seen her on this forums for a very lonnnnngggg time :)

I think it\'s called Real Life. :D

Victoria is a Theatrical Set Designer, so I think that she has a hectic schedule a lot of the time. Plus she does do quite a few private commissions.

Cyril, If I remember correctly has his time taken up travelling between Japan and France as well as trying to look after at least one small child.

But there are other well known painters who very rarely fequent (if ever) the forums, possibly due to the \"fanboy\" concern.
I did hear a story that Jen Haley stopped posting anywhere due to that issue, (don\'t know how true that is though).

Cyril is more active on a French forum. Jen has recently sculpted a figure that will be released through Reaper and she\'s working on others. She can sometimes be found on their forum.

Cyrils is very active on Créafigs along with many others of the top frenchpainters. I think some people are more forumgoers.. than others I don\'t think it has to do with workload. I know I have ahd a really busy schedule but I still visit this forum if I\'m able to. Others (like cyril) might prefer their first languish.

But their are lots of great painters visiting these forums as well.. don\'t forget that. :)

perhaps the reason why they paint such good stuff is because they spend less time on these forums and more time painting!! look at me, i haven\'t finished anything since october i think!

In all fairness the forums are poorly frequented by almost everyone on this site anyway. A lot of people never bother coming here. We all seem to think that these forums are the bee\'s knees without considering that a lot of folk think otherwise or just couldn\'t give a monkey\'s. There seems to be a feeling that these people owe us their time because they are so good and folk want to question them on this that and the other all the time. Simple fact is, a lot of great painters probably can\'t be arsed with it all :innocent:

Probably got better things to be doing lol

I hate to sound like i am \"addicted\" or \"require\" them on the forums, its just people like them are a great Asset too the forums.
Do they think that we are Second rate at all...?

Nah, they just probably don\'t have time to give a monkey\'s, Rodders! We are forum-goers and they just ain\'t any more. Simple as that. Talk of assets and all that is making an assumption that everyone on CMON cares for everyone else. The forums are a grand place for us lot, but to a lot of others it\'s a silly place, like Camelot in Monty Python\'s Holy Grail lol
