Vallejo\'s 28 dark green

Im using Vallejo\'s dark green 28 and it\'s giving me this really weird glossy result anyone have a solution to make it flatter looking?

ps. i know its not wet, i touched it

Are you thinning it?
If you thin with acrylic medium or FFF you will get gloss, but if you thin with water it will matt more.

The Vallejo Game Colors tend to be a bit shiney because they\'ve got vinyl in them. Gives the paint a very tough surface, resistant to chipping and rub-off. Have you tried adding a Matte medium? I don\'t know if this really helps, but I\'ve heard of others using it.

I have been thinning it with normal water, about a 50/50 mix, and its still giving me a glossy type effect, im also painting on a black under coat i dunno if that would change anything.

The weird thing is, i used my other vallejo orange and it didn\'t come out glossy at all!
