ordered some on ebay to test out.
i got scarlett red, heavy red, red ink and glaze medium.
so far i can say scarlett red is more like GW red gore.
and the heavy red seems to be almost exactly the same color as the scarlett red which i find strange. like virtually no difference. i layered the heavy red ontop of scarlett red base and you cant really see a difference. i guess the heavy red just has more pigment.
dilluted down they behave much better than GW paints. much more smooth and even with better flow.
the red ink is really bright somewhere inbetween gw blood red and blazing orange. i wish it was darker. i think baal red is more useful at the moment.
i mixed a few drops of the glaze medium into some blood red. perfect for tinting and bringing layers together. awesome potential with this stuff. but more testing required lol.
so far im really impressed ill probably buy more. if youre still debating on what paints to buy id say go all vallejo except pick up GW washes and metallics.
