Does any one know when the UK games day is this year?

if so whos going?

we could have a CMON meet and greet or something, be kinda fun meeting you guys and gals in the flesh and get too know the people behind the miniatures. i also wana get my entry ready in time, this will be the 1st games day for me and i thought i may aswell have a bash with the big guns in the golden demon comp.

I hope I can will be there, but I would like to know where it´s going to be!

Some of the Spanist Team will be also there.

I am quite sure it will be the same place as last year, and around the same date.

I hope to meet you there Fernando! Maybe you can explain to me about your beautiful metallics! In the meantime i am working on my entry, been finding drawings for inspiration and planning it for 2 months! It will be big!:D

Oh I hope so! I\'ll be doing my best over the next few months to help prevent a Spanish or French domination of this years event (mainly with Mike\'s Hammer! :rolleyes: - no mainly with Magic Sculp and Greenstuff!)

I\'ll presumably be there (should be September/October at the Birmingham NEC).

Started an entry a few days ago and have a few more planned. Be interesting to see just how many of those ideas get finished. By my track-record, not many (but I\'ll do something else)...

I will be there.
It will be my first time for 8 yrs, and I dont know if ill enter anything. I dont have the time I used to.
But ill look at all the entries and regret entering.

I\'ll be there, really gotta try for a trophy of some colour this year.

Haven\'t started any entries yet. But I have got plans and a few components for one. Its going to require a fair bit of sculpting, which should be an interesting challenge.

I had 6 entries last year. Can\'t really see me getting that many done this year, but you never know :)

cool, looks like a few of us here will be going then. im gona start planning my entry now and then use my 2 months summer break too do the sculpting and painting.

Games Day UK has been September since I can remember.

I really would love to go, but damn it\'s not cheap to fly from Canada :D And I\'m planning on spending about $30,000 on a car this summer... which doesn\'t leave much money for trips halfway around the world to lose in a painting contest to all the people I idolize :D

I\'d love to go for 2007 or something, once I get a good amount of practise with the new styles of painting I want to experiment with.

No i\'m joking but seriously there\'s gonna be a couple of us going and it\'d be good to meet all the other CMONers!!

Plus in true typical British style we can\'t be dominated by the rest of Europe!!!! First the invasion after invasion, then the football, then the Euro and now Games Day and Goldend Demon is nothing sacred!!!! I\'ll see you there (unless i get hit by a runaway milk float or eaten by those carnivorous cows that hide under the floor boards)

September...damnit. I believe I got an appointment with a hurricane on Cuba that month.

But I really look forward to see all the new winners. It\'s like christmas time whenever a GDUK or GDFR is over and the pics come up.

I\'ll be going! Started my entries already ;) Nearly finished one too! For me to enter more than one category is a miracle, so we\'ll have to see what happns... :innocent:

this one will be my first one for fifteen years.

it\'s taken me bleedin\' ages to get the green stuff sorted on my mounted character. and as for filling the gaps on that horse.

the 40k entry will be simple in comparison.

i won\'t win shit, i know that. considering all the people i will be against.
but the learning experience and meeting every one will bve worth it.

I don\'t think I\'ll be able to get there this year. Never mind I\'ll just have to wait for the pics on GW site of the winners.
