its a Pm... =personal messages, not like we post eferything on the forums you U2U, type that persons name in, and send a message, and bobs your uncle!

Eric - the u2u\'s confused the heck out of me when I first joined too!

You have to know the name/handle of the person you want to PM. You put that name in the \"box\" and then click on the \"Send\" button next to it and a message box will appear.

It would be nice if when you clicked u2u after someone\'s posting it would automatically put their name in the \"box,\" but it doesn\'t.

okay that makes a little more sense..i thought i typed in the message in that little thing then i hit send...thats what sniffing super glue gets you.....

Well, this is interesting, I have tried to use the U2U before, the problem I have, I put the persons handle in the little box, hit send, and it does nothing. no message box. I have had to get inventive when it comes to sending PMs! can anyone tell me why I don\'t get a message box?

First of all--Thank you Eric!! I have been wondering this as well for some time.

Gin you may have your pop up blocker on. You can either enable pop ups for this site or hit the control key at the same time you hit send with the mouse. At least that is how I think I did it. lol

I think I did, but it was a long time ago. If I didn\'t it was because everyone said that nothing would ever happen b/c CMON hadn\'t been upgraded in years. Of course, they just did upgrade it (and I probably never put it in the request) :flame: Perfect timing - as usual! lol

try pressing CTRL when you hit the send button

if that dosent work...try SHIFT and the send button.

Well, still no luck on the U2U, I have my web stuff to allow pop-ups, I tried the control key and the shift key, still no luck.:~( any other ideas?

well Yes, since u2u doesn\'t work for me too, whatever I tried to do.

Search for a picture uploaded by the person You want to send a message to, then at the bottom of that screen are three active spots as \"profile / send a message / all pictures\". Click on \"send a message\" and hey voila...

It\'s almost definitely your pop-up blocker...

It\'s happened before to loads of people, you just have to find the right \'preference\' to tweak. But then you\'ll also probably get pop-ups of course...

I just do what Helga does, and if they don\'t have any pictures in the gallery, then, I don\'t PM them!

What I have also found is that if you have too many messages still held in the \"Your Messages\" you can\'t send anything.
A bit like hitting the mailbox limit on an exchange server, you can receive but not send until you tidy up.
