Tyranid Termaguant Paint scheme trial C+C Please !

It looks good to me. But then again Im no expert. The only thing that bugs me, no joke intended, but that color of skin and the work that you have done on the plates just doesn\'t do it for me. Too much red maybe, go lighter? Not sure, sorry that I cann\'t help more

well im no expert ether however i seem to be the only bug painter other then u here lol

looks good to me... ive yet to master the \"chipped\" technique and my current bugs are actualy the first time ive gotten remotely close to it.. yours however seems to be just fine. personaly id bring it a bit lighter and a bit more noticable it does however look quite good... you plan on leaving the ribs and such black ???

Why doesnt anyone ever paint them Dark body with Brillant collored shells like bugs...

Come on Black and charcol body red and fiery orange shell with black dots...

hehehe

naw your bug looks great would like to see 30 of them together though to see if I like the paint sceme... Its me but I think Bugs are swarm creatures so the painting while individual really depends on the whole unit... Unlike mariens which only have 5 to 8 in a unit its more an individual...

ok Iam crazy...

Usi has a good point... i had 2 gaunts with 2 paint schemes painted on both (1 on each side) one was painted yellow carapace then brown skin blended to back (dark brown mind you) and yes it looks good on one gaunt however after imagining a swarm of them not so great... so not only must you picture the one gaunt imagine a swarm of the things :bouncy: what may look good on one gaunt might not look so great swarm wise

actually it was another bug, really differnt painting style ( in my opinion) you can see the other one in the last photo on the step by step,
