Tyranid Malefactor

I have just recently started putting together a tyranid army. I am very familiar with the tyranids but not the older models.
I have been looking at the old malefactor model on eBay and I am very interested. Has anyone had experiences with them?(regarding play and painting) Worth the 50 dollars?
Are the any rule changes from the chapter approved book?

Ha! I\'ve been looking at them and have bidded, haven\'t gotten one yet for the 50 bucks I want to pay, though, so no details on the quality of the mini....I do really want one for my swarm, though...:D

@marineboy-Yeah, for a while they were 50 but the last few on Ebay have been almost 100. I believe when they first came out they were 35...boy I wish I would have got them then.
@Godlike-Its a tyranid APC. If it is still the same as in Chapter Approved it has scything talons and spinefist/massive. I believe +2 save and 5 wounds. Carries 11 wounds. Something like that.
