Type of clamp good for holding models.

What's a good clamp to use to hold models together while the glue, green stuff etc is curing?

I have seen high strength ones at homedepot but are they too strong and break the model? I trying hold together some kingdom death monster models and few GW ones. Rubber bans are normally my go to, however I need something little bit stronger.

Anyone have any experience working with clamps?

Thanks

I've used clamps on things like Airfix models. They work well in certain circumstances, but given you have mentioned GW and kingdom death I suspect it may not be what you need (if it's a land raider you are building they would be great). For organic shapes, have you considered pinning? I find this helps a load, especially if you can angle the pin so that it is perpendicular to and shear forces. They hold things together while the mini is drying and give you a big durability boost as well.

Pinning work greats on GW and on some of the KDM stuff there plastic is different and some if its rather thin, their resin stuff tends to be higher quality than FW. I normally rubber ban rhinos and LR that does the trick. The main thing I having a issue with Gorm(?) from KDM i put together few already for other people however this one has nasty gap, been using putty and glues but nothing helping. Was hopping a clamp would give me the extra strength I need.

On the GW side working on fire raptor, for the 3rd time and this one is by far the worst one I have ever encounter.
