Oui et Non......not too fluent in french....but I can't seem to stop watching the videos from the Figur'in TV.

There is one in particular that came to mind when I visited an art store a few days ago and happen to see some metallic powders used in the video (not the same brand but close). I also saw that they sold the W&N Fine detail Liquin, which is also used in the video. But there is one more thing he uses that is not labeled and/or can't seem to detect what he is saying. Its around 0:48 in the video just after he shows the metallic powders and just before the Liquin. I am assuming its some kind of medium or agitator, but not really sure.

This is the link This video shows Jean-Francois Pierre explaining how to use metallic powders on armour and such on miniatures.

In addition can someone let me know what parts he uses for mixing the three materials together....I am assuming its a 1:1 ratio, but would be nice to know the proper ratio.

I hate to ask of this, but would be greatly appreciated if someone who can speak the language can translate the specific areas for me....not asking for the whole video...just the two topics suggested.

Thanks

He uses 2 powders and the liquin. The first powder is some kind of a golden bronze and the second one (the one juste before the liquin) is a silvery aluminium.
He doesn't really mention any ratio, but keeps saying he uses a little bit of this and a little bit of that.....

That was a second metal....because it was in a bottle that looked like it had a eye dropper attached within the lid...thus I thought it was a medium of some sorts.

And the ratio sounds like my chef when he doesn't want to provide a specific recipe to me ;)

That did help tremendously though, very much appreciated

Thanks dr willetts for your time.

Welcome to the forums btw....hope to see some of your work here.
